He warns against repealing taxes while noting Indianapolis contributed about 25 percent of gross income tax and rural areas paid only 1.24 percent. The auditor’s report shows Carroll county property taxes cut by 255 500 since 1938 and 896 since 1933.

Mrs Sylvia May Felix age 34 of near Americus died Friday afternoon at St Elizabeth hospital after ten days as a patient from undulant fever. Funeral services were held at the Lutheran church in Colburn with burial at Grimm funeral home later. John Wesley Smith 81 died Tuesday at his Delphi home after a stroke. He leaves four sons Charles and Omer of Delphi Lawrence of Deerfield Florida and Earl of Lima Ohio. Carroll County Council Cuts Budget Sets 29 Cent Tax Rate
