Immunization drive starts November 9 in county schools
Mrs. Esther Gregg, Carroll county nurse, said the third county immunization program for diphtheria and smallpox will begin November 9. Family participation is encouraged with reduced prices: 50 cents for smallpox. 1.00 for diphtheria toxoid. 25 cents for the Schick test. 1.00 for additional shots if needed. The program has nearly wiped out these diseases among county children. Announcements of visiting dates at schools will appear in next week's Citizen.

Spinal Meningitis Claims Life Of Phillip Frye
Phillip Frye, 21, son of Mr and Mrs Russell Frye from a farm near Camden, died Monday at St Josephs hospital after contracting spinal meningitis which caused school closures in Cass county. Services were held at the residence with Cedarville cemetery burial.
