Tilman Ratcliff age 79 died at his Flora home Wednesday morning after a three week illness from paralysis caused by a stroke. He had lived in Flora many years and is survived by his widow, three daughters Mrs. Maude McIntyre of Indianapolis, Mrs. Etta Rouch of Kokomo, Mrs. Josephine Davis of real Wal ton, two sons John of Russell, and ten grandchildren with two great grandchildren.

Escapes Injury In Fatal Iowa Train Wreck
Mrs Lavona Wilber of Delfshi Iowa survived a Rock Island collision seven miles east of Des Moines. Four people died and many were injured as three derailed coaches blocked the path of a west bound train. An ambulance was delayed by nearly two hours as survivors reported wreckage, injuries, and loss of money and clothing.

School children honor Dad Orr on birthday at Delphi

William B. Dodge 70, former owner of the Delphi paper mill with his father Levi Dodge, died August 7 at his sister Alice Dodge's home in Long Beach California. The Dodges ran the Delphi mill until 1888 when sold to the Paper Trust. later they worked in lumber in Tennessee before moving to California. Mrs. Dodge, Mary Martin, had died years earlier in Tennessee.
