Local residents begin summer moves and recoveries
Tillman Leslie, after a major operation days ago, was moved home Thursday and is progressing satisfactorily. Mr and Mrs Frank Smith relocated Friday to Royal Center for the summer where Smith will work with a brother in law in a local garage. Mrs Kathryn Clark and daughter returned to their home near Morocco Indiana for the season.

The Friendship Circle of St. Peter's Lutheran Church held its regular monthly meeting Thursday night in the church parlors with thirty members. President Mrs Charles Gardner led the business session while Mrs George Schuette directed singing. Mrs John Witter spoke on American Motherhood, presented by Mrs Ed Johnson. New June committee member is Mrs Fred Richter. June hosts are Mrs Cora Lesh and Mrs Mabel Mullin.

Camden School Final Exercises Highlight Awards and Acts
The Camden School closed with Class Day activities as students received report cards. Funeral Services for Perry York Held at Camden
Funeral services were conducted Sunday afternoon at four o’clock for Perry York age 68 who died Friday at his Camden home. Born February 1 1880 in Marion County Indiana he lived in Camden fifty years. Survived by sisters Bessie York Camden and Dot Smith Portland Oregon and brother Walter Chicago. A Baptist Church member he was buried in Camden Cemetery with Baker Funeral Home in charge.
