Prom Night At Roth Park Lets Camden Juniors And Seniors Shine
Junior and senior students of Camden High held their prom Friday at the Knotty Pine Room in the Roth Park Hotel Monticello. Fifty three attendees enjoyed a 6 30 dinner followed by a program with songs led by Martha Patty Carol Bryan and Patricia Wise. The event featured class officers speeches gifts and a dance to conclude the evening.

The Deer Creek High School Alumni Association will hold its 34th annual meeting at the Deer Creek school on Saturday night May 15 at 8 p m. Admittance follows the association constitution with guests limited to faculty graduating class members guest by voting members and children under twelve. Alums paying dues receive a badge for themselves and a guest. Special guests will be identified by the Secretary. The eight members of the 1948 graduating class will be initiated during the evening.

The Missionary Society of St. Peter's Lutheran Church met last Tuesday at Mrs. E. M. Cripe's home with good attendance. Mrs. Fred Leslie led the business session. The group discussed the Central Conference meeting set for May 19 at the Camden Lutheran Church with Rev. Andrew Mazak as guest speaker. The program runs 9:45 am and 1:15 pm DST, with a noon basket dinner in the Sunday School rooms. about 175 women from the Central Conference are expected.
