Highway Route In Delphi To Start At City Limits
State highway engineers say the Logansport route must begin at the town’s end of pavement and extend eastward, crossing under railroads to Logansport. Delphi’s small population keeps the route inside city limits, with maintenance plans for Main Street not included in the current project. The county debt question for State Road 39 remains tied to a 1929 contract, declared illegal without a prior county appropriation.
