Obituaries: Nellie Ostergreen and Jacob Hicks

Nellie Hildebrand Ostergreen 67 of Delphi died in Logansport hospital after long illness. Born June 6 1887 she was daughter of Freemont and Martha Hildebrand. Surviving include daughter, John Kasid, three brothers, two sisters, and funeral services were held at Jackson funeral home with burial in Morning Heights cemetery. Jacob H Hicks 82 of Battle Ground former Carroll county farmer died in Flora nursing home. Born August 12 1872 in Franklin County Virginia he was married to Jerine Kennedy. Surviving are two sons, Arthur and Ray, a daughter Alice, plus a brother and two sisters. Funeral services were conducted at First Brethren church in Flora with burial in Maple Lawn cemetery.
