Mrs. Nettie Warren, 82, longtime publisher of the Camden Record, died at her Lansing Michigan home after illness since January. Funeral rites were held near Edmore, Michigan. Survived by daughter Esther Laughlin of Lansing and son Douglas of Detroit. Warren sold the Camden Record in 1946 and later followed to Lansing.

Centenarian sister of local resident lauds life in Oregon
Mrs. Henry Latourell Ell of Latourell Falls Oregon celebrated her 100th birthday on March 9 at a white farm home near her former teaching site. Born Ida Henry in Indiana she taught locally as a governess before marrying Henry Latourell. Her first pupil was Henry Latourell, founder of the Columbia River gorge community bearing his name. Her husband died last month. She has two children Eva Larsson of San Francisco and Charles Latourell of Cascade Locks.

Alvin A. Stuard 52 of Chicago died at St Elizabeth hospital after injuries from January 15 crash at the junction of highway 421 and 18 west of Delphi. He had been paralyzed by a broken back. Post mortem planned to determine exact cause. Death to be charged as Carroll County's first highway fatality of the year.
