Delphi Science Fair Friday Evening

Junior and Senior High students will present about 75 exhibits in Biological Science Physical Science and Construction Engineering. Delphi Officials Honor New Superintendent at Hillcrest Event
Two hundred teachers and school personnel attended a reception at Hillcrest on Wednesday March 10 honoring Arthur Weddell new superintendent of Delphi Community Schools and Mrs. Weddell. The Delphi Classroom Teachers Association organized the event with officers David Hanna Jack Sanders Mr. Marsteller and Miss Sailor present. County Council met in a called session and approved funds for an additional deputy sheriff a new sheriff car and a 2 way radio. Allocations totaled 3000 for the deputy 2600 for the car and 766 for the radio with state Tax Board approval pending. Additional items include 39000 for two bridge projects and welfare department typewriter funds trimmed to 220 50.
