Make Merry Sunday School 41st Anniversary in Delphi Social Notes
The Delphi Methodist Church Make Merry Sunday School class marked its 41st anniversary with a lively program featuring singing by the Radnor Colburn Ockley Delphi group under Mrs. Deane Rice and Mrs. Lena Hannell at the piano. The event included "I Want To Be a Sunbeam" and hymns from "Brighten the Corner Where You Are" to "To Be A Sunbeam" with class songs and married couples performing "Let Me Call You Sweetheart" and "Put On Your Old Gray Bonnet" before the closing "God be with you till we meet again." The Secretary records it as a standout party and the Mail Box column receives a letter from Mrs. Wilbur Day of Wabash Indiana sharing warm memories and congratulations on the 41st birthday.
