She has shown dogs since 1942 in cities like Indianapolis Danville Columbus Dayton Cincinnati and has a trophy collection proving her success. She is a charter member of the Belgian Sheep Dog Club of Indiana and served as secretary treasurer of the national association for three years. Prices for these jet black Groend breed dogs run 50 to 75 dollars with champions up to 250. She also keeps a German Shepherd and a registered miniature French poodle.

F B Talent Contest To Be Held Friday
The annual County Farm Bureau Talent Contest is set for Friday at 8 p.m. in the REMC Auditorium Delphi. Entries come from Farm Bureau families across townships in three groups Pet and Hobby teen age and adult 19 plus. Winners advance to the Farm Bureau District III Talent Contest and county hobby displays award prizes. First place township winners go to the county judging and the district show.

Two Injured In Ockley Accident
A collision at State Road 39 and Ockley road on Tuesday led to a local man being ticketed for failure to yield. Rosella Barkiewicz 40 of Fort Wayne drove a 1960 Cadillac south on 39 and hit Alpha Rule 65 of Bringhurst rural route 1 in a 1962 Oldsmobile coming from the west. Both drivers were treated for injuries. Rule suffered lip and mouth lacerations while Barkiewicz had bruised knees. State Trooper Dale Douglass and Deputy Sheriff Bill Baum investigated.

Delphi High School Graduate Enters Fisher Body Craftsmans Guild Model
Richard Lee Bell son of Delbert and Mrs Bell of route 4 submits a entry in this year’s Fisher Body Craftsman’s Guild model car contest. A 1963 Delphi High School graduate he works for Bassett and Talbert and designed a fiberglass gas turbine powered rear engine model with a Jet Age look. Lions Fish Fry Draws Large Crowd On July 3

Expansion of High School Science Labs and Library
Delphi High School expands the Biology and General Science labs under Title III of the National Defense Education Act with federal funding and local matching amounts. Charles Geheb, head of the Science Department, designed the remodeled labs with Purdue University input. The library also grows to accommodate more books, using an adjacent classroom for shelves as Bradshaw notes increased library use and service importance.
