Runaways Picked Up By Sheriff
Two runaways were found asleep in a car on Road 25 at Falling Springs hill. Tom Herron of Weatherford Texas and a 17 year old girl from Warren Michigan were taken into custody. Delphi City Council Sets Second 1964 Meeting Actions
The Delphi City Council held its second 1964 meeting with full attendance. The chamber of commerce pledged cooperation and a member to attend every regular meeting. Plans include four merchants surveying parking meter heading and reporting results. A water works trip to Indianapolis February 5 6 7 was approved with city funds. A recreation test area will repurpose the room above the council chambers. Gasoline bids went to Bassett and Talbert and Heyde Oil with rotation advised. Meter collections for the first fourteen days reached 214 and fines 44 35. Eighteen meters were repaired. The council approved purchasing a Message Mate pocket receiver for patrol use at 149 50 on a guaranteed basis.
