The Rain or Shine class of Delphi Methodist will gather Tuesday evening January 10 at 7 45 at the church. Hostesses are Agnes Smith Marie Thompson Ethel Shaffer and Hilda Holmes will offer devotions.
Miss Linda Lee Beaumont daughter of Mr and Mrs Stanley Beaumont of Chicago and Claude Richard Johnson son of Mrs Charles P McCain of Delphi were married December 10 in Chicago. Rev Kenneth W F Burton officiated before an altar of mums and white gladioli with Virginia Cornish at organ and Miriam Fallert as soloist. Sandra Kosmala served as maid of honor Sharon Reeves as bridesmaid. Best man was David Johnson. usher David Schatner of Grand Rapids. The bride wore a long sleeve white satin gown with chapel length train and illusion lace veil.
Rainbow cookie sale scheduled for Saturday with events from 7 to 9 am at the Masonic Temple on 52t2. Proceeds support community activities and church programs.
Crystal and her groom bring a formal wedding with white roses and orchids. Attendants wear purple velvet gowns and white fur muff accessories while guests attend a two reception sequence for 150 guests. The bride works for the Saturday Evening Post and the groom serves in the Navy.
Jimmie Dean Collins 18 son of Mr and Mrs Carol Dean Collins Bringhurst enlisted in the Navy for four years. He has been sent to the U S Naval Training Center in San Diego California to begin his boat training. Collins was enlisted by Chief Fred Pyvanz.

George A Sutton 79 of Burlington dies after long illness. served as Burlington school custodian for 16 years. Laura Pemble White 78 dies in Long Beach Mississippi after years-long illness, previously lived in Delphi and Brookston. Otto L Parker 76 dies in Pittsburg after years of illness. former Kokomo iron worker and Masonic Lodge member. John Disinger returns home from Home Hospital Lafayette.
Funeral rites will be held at 1 p.m. this Thursday with Rev. Robert Wilburn officiating. Burial follows at Elm Ridge Cemetery in Muncie. Jackson funeral home handles arrangements for Emily Benning of Delphi and Mrs A E Lormer of Hol and Ohio and Mrs Jean Hutch nes of Toledo Ohio.
Mrs Maude Dellinger Shoop 83 died Sunday at the home of her daughter Fern Knight in Rockfield after several weeks illness. Born in White County she lived most of her life in Burnettsville and was a Baptist. Surviving: daughter Mrs Knight two sons Henry Logansport Robin Mason City Iowa sister Mrs Charles Moore Chalmers two brothers Charles Dellinger St Joseph Michigan David Dellinger Rochester. Funeral rites Tuesday in Monticello with Rev Raymond Skelton officiating burial in West Point Cemetery.
