Mrs Martha Belle Logan Dies at Rockfield Home
Mrs. Martha Belle Wheeler Logan aged 66, wife of Jacob Logan a retired farmer, died last Friday morning at 12 at the family home in Rockfield after thirteen weeks illness. She belonged to the Presbyterian church and had lived in Rockfield for two years, moving from a farm north of Rockfield. She is survived by her husband, daughter Mrs W H Isenhour of Radnor, sons Jesse M Logan of Flora and Russell B Logan of Rockfield, and brother J M Wheeler of Flora. Funeral services were held Sunday at 1 pm from the Presbyterian church with burial in Odd Fellows cemetery.

Four Rockfield students escape death in bus train crash
Four Rockfield high school students, three girls and one boy, narrowly escaped death when a Wabash passenger train struck their school bus carrying sophomores from a party at Miss Opal Mullin’s home near Rockfield. Driver Charles Jones, 19, and passengers Margaret Jones, 15, Helen Smith, 18, and Mary Landis, 17, suffered only cuts and bruises as the bus, destroyed, shattered the vehicle remains.

County Board Sets Minor Contracts for Year 1930
