Wesley T. Maxwell 76, a well known farmer from near Delphi, died at his son Edwin’s home in Johnson City Tennessee after a brief illness. Funeral services were held Monday at the Delphi home with Rev. Wilbur V. Day officiating and burial in Masonic Cemetery. Born May 14 1860 in Ross County Ohio he moved to the Delphi area years ago. Surviving include his widow five sons Guy Lafayette Edwin Dale and Lee two sisters Miss Alice Maxwell and Mrs Milton Smallwood one brother Edgar and five grandsons.
