Sidelights On The Legislature
A column reviews a busy week in the legislature with focus on an updated NRA price fixing bill, Governor McNutt’s unclear stance, and a delay on a civil rights penalties bill. It notes potential shifts if Republicans act, plus a senate proposal tying road supervisor appointments to county surveyors. The piece also champions child labor ratification as Indiana moves toward constitutional change, arguing backward steps otherwise.
