Yeoman Helen Norris reports the Tippecanoe club held its annual Christmas supper at Kellys Roost with forty nine guests. A Triple Deckers party hosted by Mrs Glen Kennard featured turkey, cards, gifts and prizes for Freda Barlow Zola Hefner and Olive Holloway. Local residents attended visits, hospital radio prizes, and Christmas events across Lafayette and nearby towns.

December PTA meeting and alumni banquet notes
The December PTA meeting featured carols led by Mrs. Bertha Noble and a film on the birth of Christ. An Alumni banquet is set for Wednesday at the Presbyterian church on December 28 with the PTA serving. Patrick Grover Miller and Ellis Kuszmaul are in hospital, and Harold Nipple will visit on furlough from Trinidad. Mr and Mrs Charles Wynn welcomed a daughter at Memorial hospital Logansport.
