Burglaries Of Two Farm Homes Quickly Solved By Officers
Sheriff Sparkey Carey said two Montgomery county men and a Delphi juvenile were arrested for two farm home burglaries near Delphi. Craig Widner and Charles Wank, both from New Richmond, along with the juvenile, are jailed in Crawfordsville. They confessed to stealing an anniversary clock and jewelry box from the Robert Clawson home and a silver tea service from the Mrs. Jason Been farm west of town. The clock was recovered at a Logansport second hand shop. Officers praised the swift work in solving the cases.

The Carroll County Grand Jury ended its two day session Thursday afternoon and returned its report to Judge William B. Smith. Wayne Talbert served as foreman and Arthur Appleton as clerk.
