Survived by widow a step-daughter two brothers Mart Boone of Delphi David Boone of Yeoman two sisters Mary Meadows Martha Finney Flora and many nieces and nephews. Globe Valve Plant Open to Public Visits in Delphi
Fred Welsh of the Globe Valve factory told a Chamber of Commerce meeting that the Delphi plant is open to the public during working hours. Passes are available from the chamber president or secretary. The chamber approved asset transfer to Globe Valve Corp after $350,000 in payrolls within eight years. The plant began in May 1939, has surpassed $350,000 in payrolls, employs about 140, and runs a monthly payroll near $15,000.

Schermerhorn, county Red Cross chairman, received a telegram from Norman H national Red Cross chairman announcing nationwide drives this month to raise a war fund minimum of fifty million dollars. The 151st Battalion, 36th Cyclone Division from Camp Shelby Mississippi was sent to Meridian for special guard duty at the Meridian Air Base at Key Field. Major Allen M.
