Delphi School Adopts Early Class Period and Revised Hours
The Delphi school opens September 6 with 8:30 a m classes and 3:15 dismissal. An optional 7:30 to 8:25 early class adds 2:20 dismissal for its group. Buses depart 8:30 and 3:20. Cross country and varsity sports for early class enrollees begin at 2:30. Nine 45 minute lunch periods exist for grades 7–12. elementary lunch 11:50–12:20. New staff Miss Dorothy Johnson directs guidance and teaches English. A new reading program and Spanish for grades 7–9 are introduced.

Registration And Attendance Rules For First Grade
A child may not enroll or attend first grade unless a birth certificate or evidence shows the sixth birthday occurred on or before November 1. Transfer students in the second semester may enroll even if underage if the transfer is due to a residence change. Legal residency or guardianship rules apply. nonqualifying children must present a transfer or pay private tuition within ten days or face mandatory withdrawal.

The Delphi school Bookstore opens three days from 8 30 to 11 30 windows for Grades 1 to 12. It will be closed Thursday and Friday September 1 and 2. Students report to East Monoe Street to pick textbooks with cash only. Lists supplies and prices for Grades 1 to 6 and 7 to 12, including pencils crayons erasers rulers and water colors.
