Miss Ann Johnson daughter of Mr and Mrs Myron J Johnson will fly from Chicago to Honolulu by jet plane to teach for two years. Her parents will accompany her to Chicago and visit their son Robert and his family. She was honored at a coffee by her mother on Wednesday with family friends invited in both morning and afternoon hours.
Mrs. D. D. Wright, 81, a Carroll county native, died Sunday at her son Robert Wrights residence in Palo Alto California after a heart attack. She had recently lived in Walla Walla Washington and formerly resided in Carroll and White counties. Burial will be in Walla Walla. Cousin Mrs. Mary Turner of Flora is named as a relative.
