Names, ranks, serial numbers, units, APO or ship details must be clear. inscriptions allowed if not obscuring the address.

Rites Monday for Burnettsville Banker John Duffey
Funeral services were held Monday for John Duffey 82 longtime president of the State Bank of Burnettsville. He died Friday morning after a lingering illness. Born October 19 1860 in Cass county he organized the Burnettsville bank in 1902 and served as its president for forty one years. He leaves his wife Martha Chilcott a son seven children ten grandchildren and four great grandchildren. Burial followed at Davis Cemetery Burnettsville.

Miss Marie Martin 46 retired Camden elementary teacher died Friday at her home one mile south of Camden. Born August 3 1897 near Kokomo she taught in Camden schools for twenty years and retired a week ago due to ill health. Survivors include her mother and sister Mrs Jess Yeager of Camden. Guests of Mrs Mary Haugh included Mr and Mrs Robert Haugh and three children.
