Star Point Officers Host Spring Meeting And Talk
Decorations matched the season with daffodils and umbrellas forming a Star layout. Tables featured Star Point colors and lit candles as officers presided. Cafeteria style refreshments included salad bar cupcakes coffee and tea. The Hodges family shared Bahamas Harbor Island slides and notes. Alta Packard birthday observed with a gift from the Matron. Next meeting set for Monday night May 1.

Four Lafayette youths survive highway crash with minor injuries
Four Lafayette residents escaped serious harm when their auto overturned on Highway 421 in West Delphi at 1 a m Sunday. Driver Judy Fryer 17 and Mary Fryer 16 suffered minor cuts while Larry Gunner 18 received a head laceration and Joseph Younker 21, owner of the vehicle, was treated for minor injuries. Investigators could not determine a cause. The car veered to the south side of the road and overturned into a Dale Douglass, Deputy Sheriff Fred Dillon and City Patrolman Charles Coghill assistance aided at the scene.
