Kuszmaul Elected S and E Director in Rock Creek Township
At the Rock Creek Township Farm Bureau meeting on March 30 at Rockfield school, Mrs. Ellis Kuszmaul was elected Township Social and Educational Director, succeeding Mrs. Arthur Mullin. A $5 Red Cross donation was approved. The program featured devotions, talks by John C. Peterson and John De St AaA, music by the Rockfield boys chorus, and a film on 4-H Club work. A planning session for April 10 in Delphi was announced with Alma Armstrong in charge. attendees will be luncheon guests of the Indiana Farm Bureau Cooperative Association.

Henderson to Attend Southern Indiana Farm Bureau Meetings
Vivian Henderson county social and educational director will attend district Farm Bureau meetings in southern Indiana this week. She joins five others from northern Indiana to conduct panel discussions and returns Sunday. The county extension committees outlined 1945 work including crop demonstrations and soil management and will bring in a Purdue soil specialist this fall. Regular dairy cattle health exams were urged to improve milk safety following New York practices.

Guernsey Cows Of Lanes Top-Notch Producers
Two registered Guernsey cows owned by Richard W and W H Lane of Camden Indiana completed herd improvement records. Eikeo Ruth produced 7797.8 pounds of milk and 377.8 pounds of butterfat while Eikco Rena yielded 11542.4 pounds of milk and 471.7 pounds of butterfat. Both cows aged two, milked twice daily for a year. Records supervised by Purdue University and submitted to The American Guernsey Club for approval.

A summer hog raisers and 4 H boys meeting will stress round worm control and proper type with Purdue expert participation. Dairy committee members Elton Hubler Lee Flora Clyde Cook Melvin Fisher Richard Lane George Brewer aim to start Dairy Herd Improvement testing and assist 4 H members in securing club calves for 1946. An adult program emphasizes pasture and roughage, and a two day extension school is planned for next winter with crop hogs one day and dairy farm management the next.
