Court rules Nixon not entitled to White House tapes

The Supreme Court, in a 7-2 decision, held that Congress acted within its authority in 1974 to seize all tapes and documents from Nixon's presidency under the Presidential Recordings and Materials Preservation Act, rejecting Nixon's constitutional challenges. The ruling preserves government access to nearly 5,000 hours of tape and millions of pages, with GSA to regulate public access.

Gore brothers held for trial in Glenolden homicide

Two teenage brothers Christopher Gore, 15, and William Gore, 18, were ordered held for court on criminal homicide charges after preliminary hearings. District Justice John J. Nielson raised bail to 500000 each and remanded them to Delaware County Prison.
