Cat Owners Protest Lansdowne Leash Law At Council
Cat owners protested the Lansdowne leash ordinance being applied to cats at a borough council meeting. Animal warden K. Blake Cash enforces the rule, taking cats to the SPCA, with 13 cats picked up June 1 to 15 and most destroyed. Debby Meshurle led calls to hold cats 72 hours for owner claims, but officials said the SPCA cannot accommodate such holding and police confirmed enforcement on loose cats.
