DELCORA plans a 5 million dollar bond issue to finance a 3.5 mile bypass linking Central Delaware County and Mackinipates Authority plants to the Darby Creek Authority pumping station in Darby Township. Bids expected late Aug or Sept as construction bids open.

County to microfilm deed records in space drive

County officials will microfilm deeds and related records in the controller and recorder of deeds offices to free courthouse space. A one year lease for two reader printers and a camera from U S Leasing Corp costs 8000 dollars, enabling 50 000 square feet of courthouse space to be freed, with plans for a central retrieval room for microfilmed records.
