Father's Day Visit Fulfills Dying Boy's Wish
In Nashville a prison inmate sneaked into Van derbilt Children's Hospital to grant 15 year old Richy's final wish to see his father. Charles Denton, escorted from a Florida facility where he serves 15 years on drug charges, visited under doctors' guarded prognosis. Doctors described Richy as very guarded with liver and respiratory damage, internal bleeding and kidney failure yet one physician noted a possible 100 percent recovery in rare cases.
