The Associated Press reports on a court ruling in a U S mob leadership case in Philadelphia. A three judge panel upheld a 2 1 decision and rejected arguments for a new trial. The ruling cites improper evidence and conduct by prosecutors in the D'Alfonso case.
Police Superintendent James Bratton said trouble began after organizers asked attendees near the stage to move back and the show was canceled. He reported at least 13 arrests as officers described mass panic with people running in all directions and comparisons to scenes from Los Angeles.
Effective July 1 1992 the Tax Collector hours will be changed to Wednesday evenings only. He will be available from 4 00 PM to 7 00 PM at 233 Pennell Road Aston PA.
