Abby Harris, 45, trapped in a burning car after a head on collision on Route 1 in front of Chadds Ford Cafe, was listed in critical but stable condition with burns and lacerations. Passers by, including Johnston, Stark, and others, pulled the car free, used a chain and fire extinguishers, and aided until medics arrived at Birmingham Township.
In Upper Darby Court Stephen Dilks and Robert Fusaro faced harassment and disorderly conduct charges from a January 3 incident at the Bazaar of All Nations lot. Fusaro was found not guilty after testifying. the case against Dilks was discharged after the victim Joseph Bruno identified the mace attack and a juvenile pleaded guilty and awaits probation details.
Delaware County based attorney William Pancredi voluntarily relinquished his law license amid charges of misdirecting more than 327000 dollars in federal funds through the Partnership for Economic Development. He pleaded guilty, received five years probation in March, and awaits a disciplinary board ruling on possible temporary suspension or disbarment. Tancredi cooperated with authorities and faces sentencing related to the case.
