Delaware County agents fined in phony auto insure scheme
The Pennsylvania Insurance Department ended a scheme where nine Delaware County agents used incorrect residence codes on at least 902 auto insurance applications from 1976 to 1979. Fines ranged from 450 to 2,500 dollars. one agent surrendered his license. Sentry Insurance and A Mutual Co. were fined 15,000 dollars and ordered to tighten procedures. Agents named include Michael Navromatos, Henry Atkins, Anthony Carlucci, Brian Callahan, Robert Branca, James Waldron, Robert Stranix, Armen Karaghousian, and Enrico Campitelli, with various numbers of bogus applications and penalties.

Boothwyn man arrested after attempted sexual assault arrest
Vincent Gaudiello, 33, of Meetinghouse Road, is in custody on allegations of attempting to assault a newspaper deliverywoman in Upper Chichester. Police say he confronted the victim in a hallway, grabbed her, and tried to drag her inside an apartment before she escaped and called for help. A search with a helicopter and canine units followed, locating his car near Colonial Drive.

Norman Milano 30, once a dog catcher in Upper Darby, was acquitted of attempted murder and related charges. He says he will sue to win his job back after being moved from the dog catcher unit to the meter department, a transfer Mayor Kane says was due to absences not the Kent Park shooting. Milano disputes the mayor and cites a health department record showing only three sick days besides vacation. Reilly, 28, of Glenolden, a reputed Pagan, contends Milano shot him over a $1,300 motorcycle debt following a dispute.
