Fired assistant health officer ousted in Upper Chichester
Upper Chichester officials voted 4-1 to remove assistant health officer Bill McClay who lacked state certification. Carl Spangler was named interim replacement. McClay, paid 6000 yearly, contends certification isn’t mandatory and calls the move a political discrediting of GOP leader Larry Spedden. He seeks state certification while awaiting guidance.
