Chester cop placed in ARD after voter rally disruption
Chester police officer Bostick, 37, a 8 year veteran, was placed in Accelerated Rehabilitation after disorderly conduct and threats at a January 3 voter registration rally at Calvary Baptist Church in Chester. Judge Joseph W. DeFaria approved ARD with a year of probation and a required psychiatric evaluation. Special ADAs said ARD admission of guilt clears on completion of probation.

On June 11 to 13 senior high closes at 12 30 p.m junior high at 11 30 a.m and elementary at 3 30 p.m. June 14 all schools closed. June 15 the last day, senior high at 9 15 a.m junior high 9 45 a.m and elementary 10 15 a.m.

Two Arrested in Parkside Park Valley Shooting
Police arrest two men in connection with a June 6 shooting that wounded Steve Giordano 24 of Park Valley Apartments. Both suspects were arraigned by District Justice Kenneth Miller and remanded to Delaware County Prison in 25000 bail each. Giordano underwent surgery at Sacred Heart Hospital Chester and remains in guarded condition.
