Media Variety Dominates Primary Pet Show in Media
Sara M Grasberger reports on a spring pet show hosted by Media Friends where 3rd graders judged unusual pets. Prize ribbons went to Sally and Jimmy Cooper for a coon cat, Barclay White for two pink salamanders, and Suzanne Shalet for a miniature Dobermann Pinscher. Mrs. Eldon Lindley notes about 15,000 similar shows exist nationwide and that the program emphasizes care and education over prizes.
