Playwrights fire up Hedgerow’s Playboy of the Western World
Hedgerow Theater stages J M Synge’s Playboy of the Western World with John Loven and Charlie Walnut delivering bold turns. Chrissy Mahon is played by Kevin Hughes in a promising but imperfect debut, while Eleanor Tauber and Myra Flaherty shine as Widow Quin and Pegeen. The production blends Irish humor, fantasy and violence under Jean Harrison. Local notices for Borough council and Concordville fire house events follow.
