Clock strikes 12 for fleeing killer
Pendleton Indiana AP reports Terry Drake 40 of Evansville, a murder convict, recaptured on the Indiana State Reformatory grounds hiding in a silo after fleeing his work assignment. He never left the grounds. authorities found his clothes in a cattle barn and captured him without resistance. Drake is jailed for the 1977 abduction and killing of Linda Kearschner.

SEPTA will hold a public hearing at 10 00 A M on July 1 1987 in the Sovereign Building Philadelphia to consider the FY 1988 Capital Budget and FY 1988 1993 Capital Program funded by UMTA Section 9. Projects include Frankford Elevated Reconstruction and multiple modernization efforts with contingencies and environmental notes. Public comments may be submitted in writing by June 26 1987 and copies of the plan will be available at several Philadelphia libraries and offices.
