Joy Adamson Killed by Attacking Lion in Kenya

Naturalist Joy Adamson, author of Born Free, was killed Thursday night by a lion at her Shaba camp in northeastern Kenya near Meru. She, 69, studied leopards at the camp. Her husband George runs a game camp in Gora and was not reached for comment.
