The 43 year old Nat King Cole died of cancer after a long battle revealed to his wife Maria Cole who kept the illness secret. Autopsy showed cancer in major organs. Three men robbed the Mayan Theater in Denver after entering during a late show. Franklin L. Ransdell, 62, a retired postal employee and local heart fund official, collapsed while soliciting donations and died Monday afternoon in Harrodsburg Kentucky.
