Lansdowne Public Hearing on Duplex Housing Curative Amendment
Borough council will hold a public hearing at 8 tonight at the Twentieth Century Club on a curative amendment for attached duplexes at Shadeland and Plumstead. John Gallaghan seeks five duplexes on a lot zoned for twin and single homes, provoking protest from the Greater Lansdowne Civil Association which aims to preserve family homes. The association also opposes Mayor Johnsons plan to subdivide 228 N Lansdowne Ave for seven duplexes. The amendment application is available for inspection 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. weekdays at borough hall.
