Community fund push grows as Chester aids Merry Christmas drive
The 1990 Merry Christmas Fund, coordinated by Capt. Frederick Hagglund of the Army's Chester Corps, reports $4,026 raised to date with $1,305 added today toward a $43,000 goal. Donations include individuals from Chester, Ridley Park, Norwood, Drexel Hill, and Folsom, plus church groups. A typographical error noted in yesterday's paper misstated a donor gift.
