Testimony Ends in Riot Trial in Chicago

The riot conspiracy case tied to the August 1968 Democratic National Convention reaches a late stage after 100 weeks of testimony. Harvard Blacks Leave Building Demand Reform at Harvard

About 75 Black students occupied Harvard Universitys main administration building for six hours in a demand for Black hiring goals on construction projects and promotion of Black workers. The agreement with Harvard Law Professor Archibald Cox calls for creation of a Black worker oversight body and potential disciplinary charges against students. The incident follows earlier protests and a campus disciplinary framework established last spring.
