PE Asks Fuel Boost For 1982 in Philadelphia
Philadelphia Electric Co. filed with the state Public Utility Commission a proposed Energy Cost Rate of one half cent per kilowatt hour for 1982. PE calls it a small rise due to moderating fuel prices, higher coal and nuclear generation, and a refund with interest for an over collection in 1981. The ECR would be 48 cents on a 500 kilowatt hour bill, about a 1 percent increase.
