Belfast Hospital Shooting Amid Hunger Strike at Maze
In Belfast a British marine, Sgt. William Corbett, 34, was shot dead inside Musgrave Park Hospital as hunger strike inmates at Maze prison continue their protest. IRA prisoner Bernard Fox, 30, joins six others refusing meals, replacing Patrick Quinn who remains in coma after medical treatment. The hunger strike has claimed ten prisoner lives to date.
