Daily Times reports that Richard Burke, Ridley Township Democrat, was wired for sound during talks with Delaware County GOP leaders as part of a grand jury probe into election fraud. Trans-Atlantic air travel nears normal after controller dispute
UPI reports traffic between the United States and Europe returned to near normal as Canadian controllers ended a two day boycott affecting about 100000 travelers. Portuguese controllers withdrew their threat of a further boycott next week, while US officials said domestic air traffic reached about 80 percent of normal. The International Federation of Air Traffic Controllers postponed a full meeting set for August 22 to consider sanctions against American controllers.
