14 Acre FMC site in Marcus Hook hinders borough plans
Marcus Hook officials face a 14 acre headache as Alpha Machine Co backed off due to Walnut Street truck traffic. Residents on 37 of 44 Walnut Street homes object to direct access plans, fearing parking loss and safety risks while aging houses may be undermined by heavy truck flow. Mayor Weldon cites tax base erosion and lack of entry to the property.
