Mother Returns Not Kids After Nuclear Plant Alert

Police officer denies role with prostitute at trial

An 18 year veteran of the Upper Darby police force testified he had no sexual contact with Patricia Kalesse the admitted prostitute and key prosecution witness against Richard and Janice Toner accused of running a prostitution ring in Delaware County Court. He said the only conversation with Kalesse concerned a stolen car and not the massage service at the Toners home. The Toners deny operating a massage business as a front for prostitution. Other witnesses described the money split and customers, while Hardick denied knowledge of how his name appeared in raid files. Linda Arnold, arrested in the raid, was acquitted of prostitution charges.
