Family suing Bridgestone Firestone and Ford over fatal rollover

Police Officer Injured in Del Rio Highway 277 Crash
Del Rio Police Officer Carlos Martinez sustained injuries after a Del Rio PD cruiser was struck by a Dodge Ram 1500 driven by Ernie Rice of Laughlin Air Force Base on Highway 277 south of Del Rio. Witnesses say Martinez made a U turn to chase a speeder, the Ram struck the police car, and Martinez was treated and released from Val Verde Regional Medical Center. Bice was uninjured.

Recall election tests city voters for council fate
