Man walks away after Beechcraft plane crash near airport
Scottsdale man Patrick Lee Harvey piloted a 1966 Beechcraft V35TC that lost power after takeoff from Del Rio International Airport around 5 15 p.m. Saturday. The nose gear collapsed as the plane touched down in a grassy ditch near Avenue V and a nearby park. Harvey walked away uninjured after the crash and had previously had engine trouble on Labor Day while flying nearby.
