Jurors for Tommy Lynn Sells murder and attempted murder cases were not chosen Tuesday as the long holiday pause ends. Prosecutors and defense must select two regular jurors and two alternates while two potential jurors were dismissed for already favoring a verdict. Witnesses and further challenges are expected as testimony could begin later this week. Sells faces capital murder charges in Kaylene Harris’s death and the separate attempted murder of Krystal Surles. Grandparents Clifford and Glenna Harris of Grove, Oklahoma, attended, amid ongoing court action.
Author Michael Finklea, a four year traveler visiting state to state, spoke to Sacred Heart School on Tuesday. The proposal mirrored a joint Del Rio Eagle Pass venture and cited education as a foundation for progress and regional needs.
