The annual fundraiser began in 1925 under Mrs Irene Johns and funds benefit school equipment and Texas Congress of Parents and Teachers aims. Amistad hosts Mexican park managers for 13th year
Amistad National Recreation Area welcomes 25 to 30 Mexican park managers for a two week course on park management. Fourth body recovered from Rio Grande near Eagle Pass
Border Patrol says a fourth body was pulled from the Rio Grande near Eagle Pass on Tuesday morning. Officials expect to recover three more as the search continues through week end, with seven drowning victims believed in total from a Saturday crossing by about 27 aliens, largely from El Salvador.
